NOBTS General Scholarship Application

NOBTS 2026-27 General Scholarship Application

The NOBTS 2026-27 General Scholarship Application is a comprehensive scholarship application that we use to match students to all scholarships administered through the NOBTS financial aid office. This application is available to all of our students and prospective students and will be used to determine scholarship awards for the following semesters: Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Important notes:

  • Many of our NOBTS scholarships require students to meet a minimum number of qualifying hours to be awarded. The minimum number of qualifying hours for each program level is as follows: Undergraduate- 12 credit hours, Graduate- 9 credit hours, Doctoral- at least one tuition-bearing course (ThM students with one doctoral-level class meet this requirement). Unless a student is in their graduating semester or receives a scholarship that does not have a minimum hours requirement, he or she must maintain the minimum number of required credit hours through the entire semester to maintain eligibility for any awarded scholarships. If a student is awarded a scholarship that does not have a minimum hour requirement, it will be noted in his or her award email.
  • All undergraduate students must complete the 2026-27 FAFSA, to be considered for NOBTS scholarships.
  • Based on the answers provided in his or her application, a student may receive additional notice of auxiliary scholarship applications that he or she may qualify for.
  • All correspondence related to scholarship awards will be made through NOBTS student email accounts. It is the student's responsibility to check his or her email for special notices from the financial aid office.
  • We strive to assist as many students as possible; however, completion of this application does not guarantee the reception of a scholarship.
  • Students must send a proper thank you note to the Financial Aid Office to claim any scholarship that is awarded.
  • Students must maintain full-time status for the scholarship throughout the entire semester to remain eligible for the award, unless otherwise noted. Dropping the required number of hours will result in removal of the award and the student will be responsible for any charges that occur as a result of the removal.

Deadlines:

The deadline to apply for scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year is June 30, 2026. This is also the scholarship application deadline for all incoming 2026-27 new students. The final date to submit an application for consideration of a Spring 2027 scholarship is November 30, 2026.
